Morning:

Go sky-diving at the Gold Coast. The best time to do tandem-skydiving is in the morning. I highly recommend Gold Coast Skydive.

Their office is located in near Coolangatta at the Kirra Beach, about 15 minutes away from Surfers Paradise.

When you decide to jump out of perfect aircraft, they’ll lift you up to 12,000 ft altitude in a small plane. I believe it’s some type of Cessna.

Then a few seconds later you’re falling with up to 120 kph. After about half a minute, the parachute opens and you have an amazing view over Gold coast, Beaches, Ocean, beautiful weather.

After enjoying the amazing scenery, you will land on a beach. Kirra Beach.

I jumped out in Jeans, a T-Shirt and some comfortable shoes. Before heading to the Gold Coast airport, you get a detailed introduction and the jump suit, that you have to wear.

My skydive instructor, Steve H., was one of the first persons who ever jumped over the Mt. Everest. That’s pretty awesome, I think.

They have a DVD option. Take it. It’s one of the best memories I’ve collected so far and one of the most awesome experiences.

Hint: Don’t tell your mom before you jump. Tell her after.

Nightlife at Surfers Paradise

Surfers Paradise has a big and action packed nightlife.

I went to the SinCity Nightclub with some friends I met in Australia. It’s located right in the middle of Surfers Paradise at the Gold coast.

The SinCity Nightclub is a small club compared to the big disco’s in Europe, but it’s definitely a nice place though.
Friend staff, efficient staff and a VIP line.

Typical club music and a nice dancing area. It can get very crowded, even on Tuesday nights.

Don’t forget your ID (e.g. driver license or passport)

Today, we gonna write a bit about the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

It’s a very classy hotel and in my opinion it is a premium business hotel.

You need a ride to LAX? By Shuttle it takes about 45 minutes.
Early flight and no time for breakfast? There’s a Starbucks right in the lobby. Awesome!

Within walking distance you can find a Westfield Shopping Mall and several bus stops.
Beverly Hills is about 25 minutes away, where you can enjoy a very good dinner.

We like this hotel, especially the Starbucks in the Lobby and because it’s close to Beverly Hills.

We recognized the pool area in an episode of the crime drama Castle on ABC.

Did you know, that you can go surfing in Munich?

Munich is several hundred miles away from the next ocean. Munich is likely not the first place that comes to mind when you think of surfing.
Yes, it’s possible!
We just discovered, that many locals (and world travelers) go river surfing in Munich. There are 3 surfing spots in the city of beer.

The pro’s usually use the Eisbach, an artifical river in the heart of Englischer Garten (a recreation area with meadows, beer garden and museums), to catch a wave. It has become known as a famous tourist attraction. In the summer, tourists often stop and take photos of the river surfers. Another famous surfing spot in Munich is the Flosslaende.

Next time you visit Germany, make sure you visit the English Garden in Munich. It’s impressive.
